SWITCHES
The BPR Regulator By-Pass Switch is available in 600
and 1200 Amp ratings at voltage ratings 15.5kV up
to 38kV. A single pull of the switch results in the
proper sequence of operations to ensure reliable
regulator by-pass operation. The BPF By-Pass
Combination Switch combines a reliable 600 Amp loadbreak
disconnect switch in series with the steadfast Type-C
cutout fuse holder. The M3S Hookstick Disconnect
Switch is an ideal companion to the BPF and is available
in 600 or 900 amp ratings. Automation-Ready Switches
also available. |

HELICAL FOUNDATIONS
Power-installed steel foundations screw into the ground
to provide a firm foundation for station breakers,
bus support structures, lighting standards and more. Power-installed
foundations can typically be installed in 10 to 20
minutes and load immediately applied. Average foundation
load capabilities are 20,000 pounds depending on
soil conditions. When concrete foundation pads
are required (example: transformer pad), steel foundations
can be used to provide critical support. |
TOOLS, GROUNDING
The tools needed to build and maintain the operation of a substation are varied. The
Chance offering includes a 10.5' Grip-All Clampstick C4030294, 20' Telescoping
Disconnect Tool C4031019 and 14' Power-Fuse Lift Stick H422114 to name just a

Lift Hook Assembly C6000617, are used to provide protection during de-energized
substation maintenance. Substation Barrier C4060002 is also available in
4' x 6' sheets for extra protection during maintenance. |
