 FASTENERS
Bolted electrical connections with low/stable resistance
require proper application of quality fasteners. Recommended
practice calls for bolts of the same material as that
of the connector. Bimetallic AL/CU connections
require stainless steel bolts equipped with Belleville-type
spring washers. The reuse of fasteners is not a
good practice as normal thread wear causes a clamping
force drop-off of approximately 30% after two retightenings. This
results in a dramatic increase in bolted connection resistance
and temperature rise. We offer aluminum, bronze
and stainless steel fastener kits using certified grade
fasteners. Example: SS4HDW200 provides 2" stainless
steel bolts, nuts, flat washers and properly sized Belleville
washers.

/ OEM TERMINALS
The BXS family of transformer spade terminals start at 2-hole
pads and range through 16-hole pad designs. The BXS103BN
is a NEMA spaced 6-hole tin-plated bronze spade terminal.
The VHCL and VAUL are a series of compression terminals ideal
for use with the Anderson VERSA-CRIMP® or conventional
compression tools. The VHCL is a copper compression terminal
family compatible with as small as #6 stranded copper conductor.
The aluminum VAUL family starts as low as #8 stranded aluminum
conductor.
