Transition
plates are available for those unavoidable bolted connections
between aluminum and copper connectors. Transition
plates are offered for each of the standard NEMA pad configurations
(TPB, TPB2, TPC and TPD). Anderson also offers a
variety of cable spacers such as the APCS (aluminum) and
the BPCS (bronze) product families. Aluminum bus
end caps come in welded (WEB series) or drive-fit (ACB
and ACBI series).
BUS SUPPORTS
Bronze supports are available in bolted configurations. Aluminum
supports are available in both bolted and welded designs. Anderson
Bus Supports are factory-supplied with static springs installed
for slip-fit configurations. Bolted and welded designs
(AUR and WTH families) can be installed for either ridged
or slip-fit connections. Example: WTH305 bus
supports for 3" bus to 5" bolt-circle post insulators
can be used for slip fit or rigid welded support and easily
install on new or pre-existing bus runs.
GROUNDING
A few of these connectors include the GC141AG2
which is a bronze terminal used for
connecting a ground cable (range #4 solid thru 300 MCM)
to a flat surface using
galvanized steel hardware. The same product is available
with stainless steel hardware as in catalog number GC141A02.
Our grounding connector selection goes beyond this to include
flexible grounding braids, fence post ground clamps and
grounding loops for
attachment to cable runs.
